Our story

At the heart of KIMA Foundation is the memory of our beloved mother, 

Kimyohon - a woman whose life was guided by compassion, wisdom, and an unwavering care for others.

She had a rare ability to see people not for what they lacked, but for who they were. 

With a generous heart and a gentle strength, she supported those around her in every way she could. 

Whether through quiet acts of kindness or thoughtful guidance, she believed deeply in helping people with dignity and respect.

Our mother was known for her diplomacy and grace. She listened before she spoke, understood before she judged, and always sought to bring harmony where it was needed most. To her, caring for others was not an obligation - it was simply a way of life.

As children, we learned our most important lessons by watching her. She taught us to be good people, to give without expecting anything in return, and to serve our community with humility and sincerity. Her values shaped who we are and continue to guide our actions today.

Our father affectionately called her KIMA, a name that came to embody warmth, strength, and unconditional love. 

In honoring her life and the values she lived by, we named this organization KIMA Foundation.

The foundation exists to carry her legacy forward - to uplift communities, support those in need, and create meaningful change through compassion and action. Through every initiative, partnership, and life touched, her spirit lives on.
